About
Hi, I'm Arianna.
I know recovery from the inside — not just as a counselor, but as someone who's lived it. I know what it's like to not recognize your own life yet, and I know that the questions don't stop once the early days are behind you. I bring that understanding into the room, along with real clinical training — but I'll never make you feel like a case study.
Before I became a counselor, I came up in the art world — galleries, studios, teaching. It's not the focus of my work now, but it left its mark: I still think in terms of patience, honesty about what's actually there, and the willingness to start over when something isn't working.
Johann Hari put it simply: the opposite of addiction isn't sobriety, it's connection. That idea shapes how I counsel. My work isn't just about what you're quitting — it's about what you're building toward, and who's standing beside you while you build it.

My clinical background spans school counseling and bereavement counseling in hospice care, along with ongoing volunteer work with the Enneagram Prison Project at San Quentin. Each of these has taught me something different about what it means to sit with people in the middle of change.
